THE DUNGEON

As you'll see from the pictures below this is the real thing! No plastic stones or flagstones here. The dungeon was originally the scullery and cellars to a "well to do house" on the Holloway Road built circa 1860. The cellar even has the original washing machine in the corner and the old coal shute! You'll even find remains of the maid bell call system in here as well, this all adds to the atmosphere of the first licenced purpose built dungeon in the U.K!

We wanted to create a right feel for the dungeon and as time goes on we will add more things to make it more like a real dungeon. Just about everything CXI make is on display, there is no stuffy glass cabinets here to peer through, you can touch and feel the real thing.
