These canes are from the Kooboo  or Tohiti rattan type cane that is supple, flexible and can be bent or cut in to the size you require. These are genuine imports and not the garden type of canes from your local B&Q!

Standard canes come in strait form and are in 37" (just under one metre) lengths ready for immediate use for your personal alterations. All canes can come in 10mm to 12mm sizes.

We can also supply Malay prison canes on request but these are for the real masocist/sadist and should only be used with caution. These are ORIGINAL SPECIFICATION canes of 1.2m (47") by 13mm-16mm thickness in accordance to the Prison Service in Mayasia.

CANE CARE & USE

Tape the ends up to prevent splinters.

The ultimate stinger is to attach a funnel to to the end of the cane and allow Linseed Oil to soak down the cane over a period of a week or two. This will make the cane ultra flexible. As some of you might not know a Kooboo cane is in effect a honeycomb of tubes that run the length of the cane.

Also when using your cane take a few test shots at a cushion so you know how far the cane flexes. As a rule the end of the cane should directly hit the cheek furthest away and not curl around the theighs.

Your cane is a natural product and they rot and warp if not stored in the correct manner. To keep your cane in tip top condition always store the cane in a tube or in a vertical position. Like old records they will warp if laid flat!

If you wish to make the curl on the end use hot water or steam to heat the cane up and bend to shape. This is done at your own risk.

To make the canes extra heavy soak the cane overnight in a bath of water. This will increase it's weight 2 fold and make a bigger impression.

If you are trying Bastinado with your cane do so under extreme caution, for those of you who saw Midnight Express will know what I mean and it is NOT recommended as this can be crippling.

Using a Malay Prison cane is all well and good but please do use them to the persons limits. These will cut severely and cause permanent damage to soft tissue and muscles structure in your Glutus Maximus. It looks good from the stories and we all get horny with the idea of a prison beating but take everything in moderation and build up your limits. I have seen people with marks that they recieved 4 years ago.

Always allow yourself a month break after a severe beating, severe means about 200+ strokes. You know when you have had a lot as your arse will go like cardboard!

If you do get beaten hard and your master/mistress has taken the skin off your arse you will need to sort it out a.s.a.p.

Use Melolin pads from Boots the Chemist and a non-alergy plaster to cover any wounds up. Menolin is a high quality guaze that removes gunk away from any wounds and it will help it heal up. There is nothing worse than sitting on your best mates cream setee and leaking everywhere! I used it when I worked in a hosiptal years ago for burns victims. But as with all medical goods check with your doctor for suitability.

DO NOT USE CHEAP GARDEN CANES FROM A GARDEN CENTRE AS THESE WILL JUST SNAP AND SPLINTER!

Rattan is the stem of the trunk of the climbing palm belonging to the genus Calamus. Rattan grows naturally in the rain forest of Kalimantan.

There are more than 200 species but only about a dozen are ideally suited to the production of high quality furniture and for cp purposes.

The single stemmed vine like plant grows vertically for 1 metre and then begins to climb an adjacent tree.

Rattan can grow upto 200 metres, then stalks are uniform in diameter and remain extremely flexible.

Rattan can be sustainabley harvested, the stem is simply cut with a knife, left to dry, and then hauled down from the forest canopy. The withered leaves and bark are stripped off and the stem is cut into sections 3m - 4m in length, bent in half and tied into bundles.

The raw rattan is then rafted down stream to processing sites near the coast where workers remove the bark residue, wash the rattan in streams and leave to dry in the sun. The outer skin is stripped and the remaining core is sanded and polished ready for use.

Under NO circumstancies you MUST NOT hit the lower back or kidney area, doing so WILL cause serious and possible fatel injury.
